A WISE Specialist Level 1 for Chromebooks is a technician who has passed the WISE Technician Certification for Chromebooks: Level 1 Knowledge Exam and is considered qualified to repair or resolve issues without opening the device.
Chromebook Certification is open to all but recommended for technicians at retail and repair depots performing Chromebook repair services, IT professionals managing fleets of Chromebook deployments for enterprise and educational institutions, and individuals engaged in repairs within a K-12 depot program. For Authorized Service Centers performing Chromebook repairs, all line managers must obtain this certification to remain compliant with ASC requirements.
